Kimitachi wa Mada Nagai Tonneru no Naka (2022)

A socially-conscious coming-of-age story in which high school students question the future of Japan. Asami Takahashi, a senior in high school, has the strongest ideology against politics than others due to her father, a former finance minister. Even when she argues with her teacher in her political economy class, and even when she is warned by her external advisor, Senator Nikaido, she does not bend the answers she has arrived at through her own research. Adapted from the novel "So Dangerous?! Consumption Tax Increase" (こんなに危ない! ?消費増税) by Bot-chan against tax increase (消費増税反対botちゃん).
